Body of man found at Testwood Lakes nature reserve in Totton

The body of a man was found in the water at a nature reserve in Totton yesterday (Sunday) evening.

Police swooped on Testwood Lakes after being alerted to the discovery around 7.45pm, and they reportedly blocked access at the Brunel Road entrance.

The man’s family has been informed of the death, which is not being treated as suspicious.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “Officers were called at 7.46pm after the body of a man was found in the water at Testwood Lakes.

“His family have been informed.

“The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
