Rose Gosney and Duncan Honeybourne present free recital at St Saviour’s Church in Brockenhurst
A former Hounsdown pupil will be performing a violin and piano recital with an acclaimed pianist in Brockenhurst this weekend.
Rose Gosney, a rising star in the classical music scene, and Duncan Honeybourne will perform a diverse program featuring renowned works by Elgar, Brahms, Schumann, and Wieniawski at St Saviour’s Church in Brockenhurst on Sunday at 3pm.
The recital is hosted as part of the Nova Foresta Classical Players concert series and is free to attend.
Recently appointed leader of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, Rose will be leading the orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall in April and the BBC Proms in August.
Tickets are also now available for the Sibelius Violin Concerto with Nova Foresta Classical Players under the baton of conductor Paul Ingram at Beaulieu Abbey on October 25.
