Produced by Crossroads Entertainment, the show promises to deliver laughter, spectacle, special effects, dazzling costumes and festive magic that will delight audiences young and old.

Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood will become the Wicked Stepmother, Debbie McGee will be transformed into the Fairy Godmother, and Sooty will play himself with Richard Cadell as his best friend Buttons.

Joining them will be Southampton’s own Georgia Carr who played Sleeping Beauty in the short run of pantomime in 2020.

Georgia began her performing career as part of Mayflower Theatre’s summer youth projects, and appeared in leading roles including Nancy in Oliver! She recently completing her training at the London College of Music, and went on to perform the role of Katherine Howard in Six.

Mayflower Theatre chief executive Michael Ockwell said: “We want this Christmas to be an extra special one for all families this year. We have all been through a hard time and pantomime is part of the magic that lifts us up to enjoy with loved ones together.

“We couldn’t ask for a better title and star cast this year with Craig, Debbie, Richard and, of course, Sooty. I am delighted that we bring Georgia back to our stage in the title role and Daniel Norford making an entertaining Dandini.

"Crossroads Entertainment have put together a brilliant production for all the family that will be a most memorable experience.”

“So join Cinders as she goes from rags to riches, outwits her very wicked sisters and meets her dashing Prince Charming.”
