Sing your heart out to a big screen special version of The Greatest Showman
CIRCUS magic and musical hits will collide as The Greatest Showman sing-along show arrives at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre.
The hugely popular 2017 movie will return to the big screen for a special version on Saturday 4th February at 7pm, with on-screen lyrics and audience props.
Based on the life of 19th century American entertainer Phineas Taylor Barnum, the story introduces unique and peculiar never-seen-before live acts on the circus stage.
However, many consider Barnum’s collection of oddities an outright freak show, leading him to gamble everything on the opera singer, Jenny Lind, and risk losing the thing that matters most.
The film stars Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Broadway star Keala Settle.
Featuring a medley of much-loved hits including A Million Dreams, Never Enough, Rewrite the Stars and The Greatest Show, full audience participation and fancy dress will be strongly encouraged!
From the producers of the Sing-a-Long-a series which includes The Sound of Music, Grease, and Encanto, the latest screening is currently touring the UK including a recent London run.
A spokesperson for Sing-a-Long-a said: “Join in with the screening and sing, cheer and swoon as loud as you want.”
“With lyrics on the screen, you can sing to your heart’s content, there’s no need to keep your singing skills confined to the bathroom!”
In addition to the lyrics, attendees will also receive individual interactive prop bags and receive guidance from a live host to master a unique set of dance moves.
The spokesperson added: “The first rule of Sing-a-Long-a is there are no rules, fancy dress is strongly encouraged and full audience participation essential!”
