Drivers warned of A35 Totton Bypass overnight closures for resurfacing works

A MAIN route linking the New Forest with Southampton is set to close for more than a week for resurfacing.

The A35 Totton Bypass will be inaccessible between 7th May and 16th May between 8pm and 6am as part of Hampshire County Council’s annual planned maintenance programme. The road will be open as normal outside of these hours.

The council says the closure will allow it to carry out carriageway resurfacing works from Bartram Road to the east of the junction of High Street.

A signed diversion route will be in place which takes drivers on the A36 and then A326.
