Another heavy rain warning for New Forest and Christchurch

ANOTHER weather alert for heavy rain has been issued for the New Forest and Christchurch, which is set to hit this evening (Monday).

After a weekend of sporadic torrential downpours for the local area, the Met Office has sent out a yellow warning for heavy rain tonight and early tomorrow.

The warning is in place from 5pm to 4am, with the national weather organisation saying a few homes and businesses could be flooded, bus and train times could take longer, and there will be spray and flooding on some roads.
