Police seek witnesses and footage after car flips onto roof in two-vehicle collision on A31 at St Leonards, near Ringwood
A MOTORIST was arrested after a car flipped onto its roof in a collision with another vehicle on the A31 near Ringwood.
Police probing the circumstances of the crash between a grey Hyundai Bayon and a blue Audi A1, which took place at St Leonards around 11.20pm on 28th February, are seeking witnesses and video footage.
A man in his 30s from Bournemouth, who was at the wheel of the Hyundai which reportedly overturned, was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
Having also been taken to hospital for treatment, he was later released under investigation as enquiries continued.
The Audi driver did not sustain any serious injuries, according to Dorset Police.
PC Michael Wells said: “I am carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and the moments leading up to it.
“I would ask any motorists who were travelling in the area and have information to assist my enquiries to please come forward.
“Also, I am keen to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dash cam footage.”
