Police arrest man on suspicion of attempted burglary and possessing class A drugs after reports of home door handles tried in Dibden Purlieu




An arrest has been made after reports several homes in Dibden Purlieu had their door handles tried in the early hours.

The alarm was raised last Thursday morning, and police arrested a 21-year-old from Southampton on suspicion of attempted dwelling burglary and possessing a class A drug.

He was later released on conditional bail.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “The investigation and enquiries continue.

“If you have any information which may assist us, or any footage, including doorbell camera, dash cam or mobile phone, please call us on 101, quoting incident number 44250099300.”
