Motorist arrested after car rolls off A35 at Christchurch




POLICE arrested a driver after a car crash on the A35 in Christchurch in the early hours.

The incident, involving a Citroen DS3, took place on the southbound carriageway, between the Purewell Cross/Sony Lane roundabout and the Somerford Roundabout, around 2.15am yesterday (Sunday).

A Dorset force spokesperson said: “Officers attended, and a man in his 20s from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.

“He was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be serious.”
