Police make arrest after balaclava-clad duo stab man in car outside Morrisons Daily on Hightown Road in Ringwood
POLICE have made an arrest weeks after a balaclava-clad duo stabbed a man in a car outside a Ringwood convenience store.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was knifed in the shoulder while sitting in a car with the window down in the Morrisons Daily car park on Hightown Road just after 7pm on Saturday 3rd August.
He had been waiting for another person, who was inside the store, when the attack took place.
The assailants had fled the scene in a silver Mercedes C200 sport, before the injured man went into the shop seeking help.
Taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening or life-changing injuries, he has since been discharged.
Enquiries led to a 28-year-old man from Bournemouth being arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was later released on conditional bail as investigations continue.
Officers have been urging witnesses to come forward, along with those with useful CCTV or dash cam footage.
