Police tell pair to attend behaviour courses for racial public order offences in New Milton




TWO people must attend behaviour change courses following separate racially aggravated public order offences in New Milton.

One of the incidents police responded to involved a local 42-year-old woman who hurled racist abuse at a member of staff at Domino’s on Station Road, and then grabbed and smashed the worker’s mobile phone.

The other involved a 26-year-old New Forest man who committed a racially aggravated public order offence on Albert Road on 6th August.

He also smashed a shop window on Old Milton Road on 29th July.

They were each handed conditional cautions for racially aggravated public order and criminal damage.

As well as attending the courses hosted by Rise Mutual, they were told to pay £100 compensation to their victims.
