Brilliance in Business Awards held at Brockenhurst College, Oakhaven Hospice wins A&T-sponsored charity of the year category

A glittering awards ceremony saw gongs handed out to the best in the business in the New Forest.

More than 250 representatives from companies and organisations gathered at Balmer Lawn hotel for the 19th annual New Forest Brilliance in Business Awards at Brockenhurst College and afterwards at Careys Manor Hotel.

Matthew Lawson, chair of the New Forest Business Partnership, said: “Tonight isn't just an awards ceremony – it's a celebration of the spirit, determination and creativity that makes our New Forest business community so special. I'm reminded that we're more than just business owners and professionals – we're neighbours, friends and partners in making the New Forest thrive.

“The awards we celebrate today are a testament to that confidence. They shine a light on the entrepreneurs, the innovators, the job creators who are writing the next chapter of our local economy.

“Whether you're a ‘solopreneur’ just starting out, a family-owned business that has weathered decades of change, or a larger enterprise driving regional growth, your stories inspire us all.

Eighteen businesses won awards, with Lymington-based New Forest Escapes scooping two: New Forest Business of the Year as well as the Sustainable Business of the Year.
