New Milton man Mark Tibbles charged after pair reportedly threatened on Ashley Road Monday 17th April




A New Milton man has been charged over an alleged public order incident in the town.

The charges come after two people were reportedly threatened during an altercation on Ashley Road at around 8.20am on Monday 17th April.

Mark Tibbles (64) of Ashley Road has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a blade in a public place, using threatening or abusive behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence, and assaulting an emergency worker.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates Court on Monday, he was released on bail and is due to next appear on Thursday 4th May
