Calmore man Glenn Jones charged with firearm offences

POLICE investigating reports of a weapon in Calmore have charged a man.
This comes after a man was threatened with an imitation firearm at around 9.35pm on 2nd June at a property on Calmore Drive.
Glenn Jones (48), of Calmore Drive, was charged with possession of an imitation firearm in a public place, possession of an imitation firearm with intent cause fear of violence, using threatening behaviour and possession of a class B drug.
He appeared at court on Monday and was remanded in custody, where he will appear at Southampton Crown Court on 8th July.
