Martine Harding to be sentenced after causing unnecessary suffering to horse during loading




A CALMORE woman was found guilty of causing unnecessary suffering to a horse while loading it into a horse box.

Martine Harding (35), of The Spinney, was told all options, including prison, will be open to Southampton magistrates when she is sentenced today (Monday).

She had denied committing causing a dark bay mare physical and or mental suffering by using "violent behaviour" on 30th May last year at Ower, but was found guilty at trial.

Harding was granted unconditional bail prior to her sentencing.
