Catapult, suspected drugs and stolen rail survey box found in car abandoned in Bransgore
A CATAPULT, stolen Network Rail survey box and suspected drugs were found in an uninsured car seized by police in Bransgore.
Officers discovered the bronze silver Subaru Forester parked up in the village with a warm engine as they responded to reports of it being driven around the area.
A search uncovered the catapult in the front, while the survey box, which had been stolen during a burglary in Dorset, was in the boot.
Small rocks and white powder were also found on the rear passenger seat.
The discovery of the catapult came as officers continue to investigate a spate of attacks involving these weapons which have been reported in the area.
Anyone with information that could help identify the driver should contact the Hampshire force on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
