Police cordoned off the scene until the vehicle was cleared.

Passer-by Isabel Monday shared her shock at the crash scene, saying she had been parked in the spot where the Honda left the road just an hour earlier.

“I was gobsmacked when I saw police,” she told the A&T.

“I had been parked there an hour before; I was coming back and passed an hour later.
