Car seized by police in Marchwood believed stolen in Sussex




POLICE seized a car in Marchwood that was reported to have been stolen in Sussex.

The alarm was raised while Waterside officers were on a late shift last Friday night and they responded alongside colleagues from the New Forest High Harm Team.

As reported in the A&T, the team was recently launched to help combat the highest harm and threat across the district.

The vehicle was recovered from the scene as the force’s Sussex counterparts continued their investigation.

A Waterside Police Facebook post afterwards said: “The team were made aware of a vehicle in the Marchwood area which was reported as stolen from Sussex.

“Officers from the Waterside team along with the New Forest High Harm Team attended to secure the vehicle and get it recovered.

“Sussex Police have been updated and they will continue their investigation into the circumstances of the vehicle.”
