Car wedged on barrier after crash at Somerford Roundabout on A35 near Christchurch




FIREFIGHTERS had to help a person out of a car which became wedged on a barrier after a crash on the A35 near Christchurch.

The collision took place at the Somerford Roundabout shortly before 10am yesterday (Wednesday).

Two local fire crews were among the response and, having helped the casualty from the vehicle, they passed them over to paramedics.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said no injuries were reported.

The car, which was “wedged on top of a highway barrier”, according to Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, was recovered by midday.
