CCTV: Pair sought by police after handbag snatched from trolley at Marks & Spencer Food on Station Road in New Milton




POLICE have released CCTV pictures of a pair they want to find after a pensioner’s handbag was stolen at a New Milton store.

The bag was snatched from a trolley at Marks & Spencer Food on Station Road at 3pm on Saturday 6th July. As well as the victim’s purse, it contained her phone and bank cards.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and are now in a position to release images of two people they would like to speak with.

“Do you recognise them? Were you in the store at the time? Did you witness any suspicious behaviour?”

The man is white, 5ft 8in tall, of slim build, with long hair and a medium-length beard. He was wearing white trainers, white shorts with blue stripes and a black top.

The woman was also white, 5ft 4in tall, of slim build, with black hair. She was wearing white shoes, jeans, a black top, pink hat and sunglasses.
