CCTV: Man sought by police after alcohol and bicycle stolen and person assaulted at Lidl in Totton




POLICE released a CCTV image of a man being sought four weeks after thefts and an attack at a Totton store.

Alcohol was stolen when Lidl on Commercial Road was targeted in a shoplifting between 7.58pm and 8.06pm on Friday 27th December 2024.

During the same period, a person was assaulted and a bicycle stolen from outside.

People are now being urged to come forward if they can help officers trace the man pictured.

He is described as white, of large build, in his 40s, bald, and wearing a navy blue jacket, a sweater, jeans and trainers.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
