CCTV: Woman sought by police after second shoplifting in a month at Between the Lines gift store in Lymington
POLICE have released a CCTV picture of a woman they want to speak to after a Lymington gift store was targeted in a second shoplifting within a month.
The latest incident took place at Between the Lines on High Street between 1pm and 1.05pm on Saturday 1st February, when various items were stolen.
People are urged to come forward to help officers identify the woman shown in the picture.
She is white, aged 30-40, about 5ft 6in tall of slight build, with dark hair in a bun.
She was wearing a blue coat with a fleece lining, a short skirt and ankle boots, and carrying a beige or green shopping bag.
A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the woman in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
This came after goods valued at £110 were taken from the store just after 12.30pm on 7th January, with police releasing a CCTV picture of a man they were keen to find.
