Police release CCTV image of man sought four weeks after meat stolen in shoplifting at Waitrose in Ringwood
POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they want to find more than four weeks after meat was stolen from a Ringwood supermarket.
The shoplifting happened at Waitrose on The Furlong around 11.45am on 19th January.
Now people are being urged to help identify the man in the image.
A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and are now in a position to release an image of man we would like to speak with.
“We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.”
The man is white, bald, 6ft tall, in his late 50s and wearing glasses, a white or cream jacket, black trousers, a white shirt, a black jumper and black shoes.
People are also invited to get in touch if they witnessed any suspicious activity or have any useful CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage.
