CCTV: man sought by police after meat and alcohol stolen in shoplifting at Waitrose on The Furlong in Ringwood




HUNDREDS of pounds in meat and alcohol was stolen from a Ringwood supermarket.

Police have released a CCTV picture of a man they want to speak with after Waitrose on The Furlong was targeted 10.45-11am on Wednesday 26th February.

Goods with a total value of £526 were taken.

People are being asked to help identify the man in the picture.

He is white, aged around 60, about 5ft 7in tall, bald, wearing a black coat, black trousers and black shoes.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
