Police hunt woman over Lymington shoplifting from Dials Antique Clocks, Jack & The Wolfe, Costa Coffee and The White Stuff




POLICE have released a CCTV picture of a woman wanted in connection with a host of shoplifting offences in Lymington.

Officers investigating four incidents in the town, all reported on 25th January, believe them to be linked and are keen to speak to the woman pictured.

The offences include a £1,200 antique clock stolen from Dials Antique Clocks on Quay Hill; a hair appliance worth £200 from Jack & The Wolfe on Quay Hill; theft of a wallet and fraudulent use of cards inside from Costa Coffee on High Street; and a shoplifting incident at The White Stuff, on High Street, during which a member of staff in her 40s was assaulted.

The woman is white, between 40 and 50 years old, and of medium build with shoulder length dark blonde/light brown hair. She is described as having "full cheeks" and may be missing a front tooth.

She was wearing a knee-length black coat with a fur-lined hood, dark trousers, a white-and-brown-patterned scarf, a long grey cardigan, and black shoes, and was carrying several bags.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: "We have conducted a number of enquiries and are now asking the public for any information that may assist our enquiries.

"Maybe you recognise this woman, or perhaps you were present during the offences and saw something suspicious."
