CCTV image in hunt for man who 'groped' girl (12) on bus

POLICE have released this CCTV image of a man they want to trace seven months after a 12-year-old girl was inappropriately touched on a bus travelling from Pennington.

The victim had been sitting on the upper floor of the Number 6 Pennington to Brockenhurst service when a man put his hand on her leg.

He refused to take it away when asked to do so, and the girl was forced to leave her seat and go downstairs to wait for her stop.

Although the incident took place on 8th March, officers have only issued the CCTV image during the past week. People are being urged to come forward if they recognise the suspect pictured.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “We know the image isn’t of the greatest quality, but do you recognise this man?”

He was described as Asian, 5ft 7ins tall, aged between 55 and 65, slim build, with dark bushy hair. He was wearing glasses and used a walking stick.
