CCTV: Man sought after another alcohol shoplifting at Waitrose on The Furlong in Ringwood sees £373 of drink stolen
A RINGWOOD supermarket has once again been targeted in an alcohol shoplifting, with hundreds of pounds’ worth stolen.
Police have released a CCTV picture of a man they want to find more than three weeks after a thief stole alcohol valued at £373 from Waitrose on The Furlong between 2.11pm and 2.26pm on Saturday 9th November.
Drink thieves have repeatedly targeted the store, with at least five such shoplifting incidents since July.
People are being urged to come forward to help identify the pictured man in connection with the 9th November theft.
He is white, aged around 40, about 5ft 10in tall, with brown hair and a beard.
He was wearing a long blue coat, a white shirt, black trousers and shoes.
A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
