CCTV probe after over £1k of drink stolen in six shopliftings in one day at New Milton supermarket
POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they want to find after more than £1,000 in alcohol was stolen from a New Milton supermarket in one day.
A man entered Tesco on Caird Avenue six times between 11.10am and 11.55am on 18th January and escaped with drink to a total value of £1,062.
Two months on, people are now being urged to come forward if they can help officers identify the man shown in the image.
A spokesperson the Hampshire force said: “Officers have conducted a number of enquiries and are now turning to the public for help identifying the man we wish to speak to.”
The man is described as white, in his late 30s, around 5ft 10in tall, with dark hair and a well-kept beard.
He was wearing a blue/grey blazer with a similar coloured shirt, black slim fit trousers and black loafers.
