CCTV: woman sought by police after nearly £1k of champagne stolen in shoplifting at Waitrose on The Furlong in Ringwood




POLICE have released CCTV images of a woman they want to trace after nearly £1,000 of champagne was stolen from a Ringwood supermarket.

A shoplifter targeted Waitrose on The Furlong between 2.05pm and 2.15pm on Monday 10th March, escaping with a haul valued at a total of £984.98.

People are urged to come forward if they can help identify the woman shown in the pictures.

She is described as Asian, aged around 25, about 5ft 5ins tall, with long black hair, and was wearing a grey jacket and blue jeans.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the woman in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
