CCTV: man sought by police after whisky stolen in shoplifting at Asda on Maynard Road in Totton
NEARLY £100 of whisky was stolen when a shoplifter struck at a Totton supermarket.
Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft of drink valued at a total of £96 from Asda on Maynard Road between 6.55pm and 7.20pm on Wednesday 5th March.
People are asked to come forward if they can help identify the person, who is described as white, in his late 30s, slim build, about 6ft tall, with thinning ginger hair and a short trimmed beard.
He was wearing a blue and white striped polo shirt, a green jacket, jeans and brown boots.
A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
