CCTV: Pair sought by police after shoplifters steal £280 of whisky from Waitrose at The Furlong in Ringwood




POLICE have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to after £280 of whisky was stolen from a Ringwood supermarket.

Shoplifters targeted Waitrose at The Furlong, escaping with five bottles of Glenfiddich, between 5.15pm and 5.25pm on Saturday 1st June.

People are being urged to come forward if they can help identify the pair shown in the pictures.

The first man is described as Asian, in his 20s, about 5ft 7ins tall, with short black hair and a moustache.

He was wearing grey jogging bottoms with a white stripe, and a black CK jacket.

The second was also Asian, in his 20s, about 5ft 7ins tall, with short black hair and a moustache.

This man was wearing black jogging bottoms, a white T-shirt and a black puffer jacket.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the men in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
