CCTV: Man sought by police after staff member assaulted as shoplifter steals alcohol from Moortown Service Station on Christchurch Road in Ringwood




Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace a month after a staff member was assaulted in a theft at a Ringwood store.

The attack took place as alcohol was stolen from Moortown Service Station on Christchurch Road between 5.15pm and 5.30pm on Saturday 16th November.

No details of the victim’s injuries were released by the Hampshire force as it urged people to come forward if they can help identify the pictured man.

A spokesperson said: “We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
