Former Saints footballer Matt Le Tissier and the ‘Teddy Bear Ladies’ from TV show The Repair Shop opening Oakhaven’s new Home & Craft store on St Thomas Street in Lymington
SAINTS legend Matt Le Tissier and the ‘Teddy Bear Ladies’ from TV’s The Repair Shop will be making a joint appearance in Lymington next week.
The trio will be opening the new Oakhaven Home & Craft charity shop on St Thomas Street on Wednesday 2nd April.
The public are invited to turn up at 10am to meet the celebrities and take a peek around the new store.
Haberdashery, fabrics, crafting materials, children’s crafts, books and games, as well as kitchenware, dining ware, electrical goods and other homeware will all be on sale.
Oakhaven’s charity shops are a vital source of income for the hospice, which receives only 11% of its funding from the NHS.
Head of retail at Oakhaven, Gary Taylor, said: “We are delighted to be opening our new Home & Craft shop, which has been keenly awaited by quite a large following of crafters.
“In each of our charity shops, you will find a great team of staff and volunteers working together to help you, who pride themselves on delivering first-class customer service. We look forward to welcoming you soon.”
To donate goods to the shop, and other Oakhaven stores in the town, take them along during opening hours.
