Chance to win tickets to On Your Feet at the Mayflower

BASED on the story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, the hit musical On Your Feet will open at Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre later this month.

Directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell with choreography by Olivier Award-winner Sergio Trujillo, the musical will star Philippa Stefani as Gloria, and George Ioannides as Emilio.

It recounts the inspiring true love story of Emilio and Gloria, charting their journey from their origins in Cuba, onto the streets of Miami and finally to international superstardom.

The show will feature many of the most iconic pops songs of the era including Rhythm is Gonna Get You, Conga, Get On Your Feet, Don’t Want to Lose You and 1-2-3.

The Tony Award-nominated show ran on Broadway for two years, playing more than 750 performances. The current production visits Southampton direct from the West End, and also stars Madalena Alberto as Gloria Fajardo and Karen Mann as Consuelo.

On Your Feet will be in Southampton from 31st March to 4th April. Tickets are £22.50 to £52.50 but we’ve teamed up with the Mayflower to give one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to the opening night by answering the question in this week’s leisure competition.
