Lymington man Daniel Bartlett jailed after suspended prison term for making indecent images of children is activated
A LYMINGTON man who called Twitter a “wild jungle” that he used to access child abuse images has been jailed after a suspended prison term was partially activated.
Daniel Bartlett (33), of Gosport Street, appeared at Southampton Crown Court today (Tuesday) after breaching the terms of a suspended sentence handed down to him last June.
As reported by the A&T, when Bartlett appeared before the court last June he had already entered guilty pleas on three counts of making indecent images of children between February and August 2021.
At that hearing, Mr Recorder James Newton-Price imposed a 12-month jail term, suspended for 24 months, to cover all three offences.
Bartlett reappeared before the court today for breaching the terms of that suspended sentence, and was jailed for six months when the prison term was “partially activated” by the court.
