Christchurch man Nicholas Foreman faces court date charged with raping 14-year-old girl in Southampton

A CHRISTCHURCH man charged with raping a 14-year-old girl faces crown court trial.

The alleged attack happened at Houndwell Park in Southampton around 10.30pm on Saturday.

Specialist police officers are supporting the youngster.

Nicholas Foreman (43), of The Meadway, appeared before the city’s magistrates today (Wednesday) charged with three counts of rape and one of assault.

Remanded in custody, Foreman is due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Monday 17th March.
