Christchurch man Gary Kelly covered ceiling of cell at Bournemouth police station with his excrement




COVERING a police cell's ceiling with his excrement landed a Christchurch man with a nine-month conditional discharge when he appeared before magistrates.

Gary Kelly (49), of Melbourne Road, pleaded guilty to committing the criminal damage offence at Bournemouth police station on 22nd September.

He also pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to surrender to custody at the Poole court on 12th November.

In addition to the discharge, the Bench ordered Kelly to pay £30 compensation to cover the cost incurred by cleaning the cell.
