A SHOW celebrating the sparkling 50-year career of American singer-songwriter Neil Diamond will arrive at Christchurch Regent Centre next month.

Hello Again Neil Diamond, starring Brooklyn Creed, will feature an array of hit songs combined with evocative imagery, video and narration to take audience members on a musical journey of the super star’s incredible career.

Hailed as one of the most authentic tributes to Neil Diamond, the two-hour show on Thursday 14th February at 7.30pm will feature dozens of classic hits including Sweet Caroline, Cracklin’ Rosie, Forever in Blue Jeans, Song Sung Blue, Hello Again and Love on the Rocks, America.

Brooklyn Creed will be supported on stage by The Salvation Band.

Tickets to Hello Again Neil Diamond are now sold out but we’ve teamed up with Christchurch Regent Centre to give one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to the show by answering the question in this week’s leisure competition.

Neil Diamond was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984 and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. In 2018, Diamond received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Last year he announced he was suffering with Parkinson’s Disease and cancelled the final leg of his 50-year anniversary tour, which was due to visit Australia and New Zealand. However, Diamond hopes to continue writing and recording music.

Question: In which year was Neil Diamond inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

A. 2008 B. 2011 C. 2004
