Confident win by strong New Forest Hockey Club U14 team
NEW FOREST Hockey Club’s U14 girls were determined to finish the first half of the season with a win and they did, as their match against Trojans ended with in a triumphant 8-0 victory.
Trojans had a new and inexperienced team on the pitch and the Forest girls dominated from the start. Great passing, confident tackling and using every short corner they had saw Forest end the first half with a 5-0 lead.
After the break the match saw one chance for the opponents, which got deflected by a strong defence and the otherwise untroubled goalkeeper. New Forest scored another three goals which led to the final result of 8-0.
Forest’s Charlotte Stembridge scored a hat-trick with one each from India Dusanjh Auty, Octavia Allen, Charlotte Usher, Isla Troup. The other was an own goal.
