A New Milton man Dale Clark, accused of running over a woman pushing a pram, appears by video link from prison at Bournemouth Crown Court




A New Milton man accused of running over a woman pushing a pram appeared by video link from prison at Bournemouth Crown Court today (Thursday).

Scaffolder Dale Clark (38) of York Avenue, is charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop after a road traffic collision and drink-driving.

The victim was allegedly hit by a vehicle Clark was driving as she crossed Redhill Avenue in Bournemouth at 9am on 11th April. She suffered serious injuries but the baby was unhurt.

Clark, who entered no plea, was remanded in custody until 19th May.
