The proposal by Cordage 23 Ltd for the three-bedroom properties on land at The Wheatsheaf in Christchurch Road, which includes using the existing Church Lane access and reconfiguring the car park, was turned down by New Forest District Council.

Now a government inspector will have the final say, based on written statements that must be sent to the Bristol Planning Inspectorate no later than 22nd November.
