POLICE have released CCTV images of several people they want to track down after thousands of pounds was fraudulently spent on credit cards in Christchurch and Bournemouth.

A Bournemouth woman in her 50s raised the alarm on Wednesday 1st July, saying she had been notified that two credit cards had been taken out in her name and used to buy items.

As well as stores in both towns, they had been used online during the previous month, with a total of £12,000 spent.

Police community support investigator Chris Wilson said: “These offences involved significant sums of money and we have been carrying out a detailed investigation to try and identify those responsible.

“We have reviewed CCTV footage from several stores where the cards were used and I am now issuing images of a number of people we would like to speak to as part of our enquiries.”
