Do you know this man? Hunt for shoplifter who threatened shop staff with knife
POLICE have released this image of a man they want to trace after a shoplifter brandished a blade at a member of staff in a convenience store.
Between 7.50pm and 8pm on Monday 4th May, a man entered the Co-op in Rumbridge Street, Totton, and tried to conceal an item in his jacket.
When challenged by a staff member, he threatened them with what was described as a Stanley knife before fleeing the shop with the item.
Officers want to speak with the man shown in the picture, who has been described as white, between 5ft 8ins and 6ft tall, stocky, with dark shoulder-length hair and facial hair.
He was wearing grey jogging bottoms, white trainers and a dark padded jacket with a hood.
