A 23-year-old New Milton man was seriously injured following an accident in De La Warr Road, Milford

A MOTORIST was badly hurt after a car rolled into a hedge in Milford last night.

Paramedic teams, including the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance, responded to the incident involving a Ford Fiesta just before 10pm in De La Warr Road.

Police assisted as the casualty, a 23-year-old New Milton man, was treated for what the Hampshire force described as a “serious, but not life-threatening” head injury.

Although the helicopter landed nearby, he was taken by road to Southampton General Hospital.
