Driver seriously injured as vans crash on A35 between Lyndhurst and Burley

The A35 was closed this afternoon (Tuesday) after a crash involving two vans.

One driver suffered a “serious injury” in the collision, which happened after 3.30pm on the road south of Lyndhurst.

The A35 was closed in both directions, according to Hampshire County Council.

A spokesperson from Hampshire police said: “We were called at 3.33pm today to reports of a collision on the A35 involving two vans.

“The driver of one of the vans has sustained a serious injury.”
