Drivers warned as another fog alert hits New Forest and Christchurch

A SECOND consecutive yellow alert has been issued for overnight fog in the New Forest and Christchurch.

The Met Office says it expects the fog to "thicken up and reform" this evening (Tuesday), which will result in tricky driving conditions.

As with yesterday's alert, the national weather agency adds that slower journey times are likely, with delays to bus and train services and a chance of flight cancellations.

The alert is in place from 5pm today until 6am tomorrow.
