Langley man arrested after van ploughs into bushes off Saxon Road in Blackfield

A MOTORIST was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving after a van ploughed into bushes off a Blackfield road early this morning (Tuesday).
The alarm was raised just before 5am, with reports the vehicle had careered off Saxon Road.
Firefighters responded as the driver was initially thought to be trapped.
However, they had managed to get themselves out by the time crews from Hythe and Hardley arrived.
Officers arrested a 46-year-old man from Langley on suspicion of being under the influence. He was later released under investigation.
