Thieves steal bicycles worth just under £10,500 from New Forest Bikes in Lymington




FOUR electric bicycles worth more than £10,000 were stolen when thieves raided a Lymington hire store in the early hours of Saturday.

New Forest Bikes on Quay Street is believed to have been targeted sometime between 4.20am and 7am, when entry was gained through its front door.

Police shared images on Facebook showing what the four high-value bikes look like as they urged people to come forward with information.

The post said: “If you happen to see one for sale through social media or online selling websites and you feel the sale may be suspicious, for instance it may be at an unusually low price, please contact 101 or let us know through the 'Tell Us About' function on the Hampshire and IOW Constabulary home page hampshire.police.uk.”
