Perfume and aftershave among haul stolen in early hours raid on Boots on High Street in Hythe

THIEVES snatched goods including perfume and aftershave in an early hours raid on a Hythe chemist.

Police probing the break-in at Boots on High Street, which took place between 3.10am and 5am last Friday, are appealing for witnesses and any useful video footage.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “It’s reported that items, including perfume and aftershave, were stolen during the incident.

“Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and enquiries are ongoing at this time.

“If you were in the area at the time, and witnessed anything suspicious, please contact us and quote incident number 44240023556.”

People are also urged to come forward if they may have captured any footage of the burglary on CCTV, doorbell camera, mobile phone camera or dash cam.
