Thieves steal excavator from work site near the B3055 and Wilverley Road, north of Sway

POLICE are hunting thieves who stole an excavator from a work site in the New Forest.

The red-and-grey vehicle was taken when the site – on a nameless road adjacent to where the B3055 meets Wilverley Road, just north of Sway – was targeted between 5pm on 15th and 9am on 18th March.

Those with information or relevant dash cam or CCTV footage are urged to come forward.
